Completed match. Real Madrid lost 1-2 to Bayern at the Bernabéu on 7 April 2026 in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. This page no longer invites readers to buy tickets for that fixture.
The documented result
The club and UEFA reports record goals by Luis Díaz and Harry Kane for Bayern and Kylian Mbappé for Madrid. This is a source-based summary, not a report of personal attendance.
Club sales and intermediaries
The previous guide placed TicketFan and Ticket-Time under a heading that made them appear to be official platforms, without supporting evidence. TicketFan currently describes itself as an independent agency and states that it is not Real Madrid’s official box office. We have also removed blanket promises of adjacent seats and guaranteed admission.
For another match, start with Real Madrid’s ticket page. If comparing other sellers, ask who issues the ticket, who is responsible for the order and which stadium rules apply. A website accepting payment does not answer those questions.
A practical pre-purchase checklist
- Event: confirm the opponent, competition, stadium and status of the date and kick-off time.
- Seat: distinguish a general category from a specified section, row and seat number.
- Companions: obtain written confirmation if sitting together is essential.
- Hospitality: request the exact package description, service times and inclusions.
- Delivery: check the format, delivery deadline and assistance contact.
The former description of climate control, continuous catering and exclusive entrances was not tied to an identified package. It has been removed so readers do not assume that every ticket labelled VIP includes those services.
Before travelling
Recheck the fixture and keep your order confirmation. A screenshot of a checkout screen does not establish that you hold a valid admission ticket. Follow the issuer’s access instructions and make sure you can open the required ticket format before leaving for the stadium.
Does this result identify any Madrid-Bayern game?
No. The date and competition are essential. An old result or a sales URL can refer to a different meeting between the same teams. Match those details before comparing prices or making travel plans.
