An outdoor wedding in Málaga needs more than an appealing setting. Timings, shade, supplier access and guests’ return journeys all have to fit together. A wedding planner can coordinate those pieces, but the first task is to establish responsibilities and decide what happens if the plan changes.
Start with the actual celebration location
Málaga city, Marbella and the Serranía de Ronda are not one location. Confirm the municipality, address and transfer times before splitting the day between a ceremony, photographs and a reception. Check where vehicles can stop and whether the final route works for wheelchair users or guests who find walking difficult.
Ideas Rosas: the published service

A backup needs to be usable
Before reserving an outdoor celebration, visit the covered alternative too. Ask whether it holds every guest, how long a change of layout takes and who makes the decision. A marquee mentioned as a possibility is not the same as one that is booked, installed and included in the price.
- Consider shade and rest areas at the event’s scheduled time, not just during your visit.
- Agree arrangements for drinking water and check toilet locations.
- Confirm the venue’s procedure for wind, rain or intense heat.
- Plan alternatives for the ceremony, drinks, meal and dancing, not only one stage.
- Allow time between transfers and activities; a photography session should not disrupt the kitchen’s service plan.
Fees, working hours and responsibility
Ask for planning fees, styling, rentals, transport and staff to be separated. Define the hours covered and who remains in charge when the booked service ends. If several venues are involved, make a simple handover table listing the task, responsible person and operational contact for each part of the day.
A wedding-planning fee is not an employee’s annual salary. There is also no single tariff that fits every couple. Scope, travel, setup days and coordination needs affect the quotation.
Is the venue coordinator enough?
