Before hiring a room for a meeting or celebration, check how it will work for your group and programme. This guide summarises the information Team Building Madrid publishes about the Monkey Donkey space and the questions to confirm for an individual booking.
Buscatea does not operate the venue. The previous version used wording such as “our space”; that language has been removed to avoid confusion.
Venue photograph checked against the provider’s official page. It does not document an editorial visit.
What the provider describes
The official page places the space at Avenida de Filipinas 4C in Madrid’s Chamberí district. It advertises 50 m², rearrangeable furniture and a 150-inch HD screen, alongside team-building activities and catering options. Floor area must not be read as a capacity of 50 people.
Confirm a layout that works
Explain how many people will attend and what they will do: watch a presentation, work around tables, move during a game or eat. Request a proposed layout and confirmed capacity for that use. The same room can work differently depending on the furniture and activity.
Ask about street access, possible steps, toilets and circulation space. Describe particular requirements and request specific answers; this guide has not verified every aspect of accessibility.
Equipment and timings
- Confirm how your computer connects to the screen and whether it is compatible.
- Clarify whether sound, microphones or internet access are required and included.
- Ask when you may enter to prepare and when the room must be vacated.
- Allow time for setup, furniture changes and clearing away.
- Request a contact for any problems on the day.
Food, drinks and additional services
If ordering food, request a dated menu and quotation. Clarify quantities, dietary options, allergy arrangements, included drinks and whether outside food is permitted. Do not assume the older drinks-and-snacks package previously described on this page remains available: it needs explicit confirmation in the offer.
Put the agreement in writing
The reservation should identify the date, hours, layout, participant numbers, services, total price and change or cancellation conditions. If room hire and an activity are separate services, ask for separate lines in the quote. Keep the accepted proposal and resolve outstanding questions before paying a deposit.
If you are still comparing formats, our guide to team-building options in Madrid explains the difference between a fixed room and an activity with an agreed location.
