A bikini that looks appealing in a photograph is not necessarily the one you will enjoy wearing all day. Start with what you plan to do: swim, play on the beach or relax. Then compare fit, support and care requirements, rather than looking for a supposedly perfect style for a particular body shape.
Check the size of each piece
Use the size chart for the actual style and follow the retailer’s instructions for measuring your bust, underbust and hips. If you need different sizes for the top and bottoms, check whether they are sold separately. Matching size letters across brands does not guarantee a matching fit.

Constant readjustment may indicate that the style does not suit your intended activity. Coverage is a personal preference, not a rule about what somebody with your body shape should wear.

- When shopping online, enlarge photographs of seams, lining and closures; screen colours may differ from the garment.
Read the returns terms before removing tags
Check the return window, postage cost, return address and hygiene conditions. Triangl requires tags and the hygiene seal to remain in place for eligible returns. ASOS provides instructions for Spain and distinguishes items supplied by partner brands. Do not assume that every order has free returns or the same conditions.
Keep the product details, final price and proof of purchase. A discount may be less attractive once international return postage is considered. If a condition is unclear, ask before wearing or washing the item.
Care and longer-term usefulness
Follow the care label on your own bikini: different materials and embellishments may need different treatment. Instructions written for one fabric should not automatically be applied to another. A comfortable design that works with the beachwear you already own can be more useful than a purchase driven by an outdated trend list.
