Mullen Automotive: reviewing announcements and financial risks

An announced car does not prove that a company can manufacture it at scale, sell it profitably or deliver returns to shareholders. The previous Spanish article about Mullen Automotive blurred those questions and encouraged investment without adequate analysis. That recommendation has been withdrawn.

What the company disclosed

The June 2025 quarterly report filed with the SEC records Mullen Automotive’s name change to Bollinger Innovations, effective 28 July 2025. It also reports substantial doubt about continuing as a going concern and temporary production shutdowns caused by liquidity constraints. These are company disclosures for that reporting period, not a Buscatea audit.

A subsequent filing published on 10 October 2025 announced a Nasdaq trading suspension from 13 October and an intended move to OTCID under BINI. That historical announcement does not, by itself, establish where or on what terms a security can trade today.

Reading vehicle announcements carefully

A prototype, a reservation, a commercial agreement and a delivered vehicle recognised as revenue are different things. Look for the exact model, development stage, applicable approval requirements and documentary evidence of deliveries. Different product names should not automatically be counted as separate vehicles.

The cover retains an old FIVE RS promotional graphic. It does not establish current availability, independently measured performance or a road test. This article has not tested the company’s vehicles.

Four checks before drawing financial conclusions

  1. Identity: confirm the issuer, its identifier and changes of name. Similar branding is not enough.
  2. Liquidity: read cash-flow information and funding requirements as well as sales announcements.
  3. Capital: investigate share issuance, convertible debt and reverse splits. A share price alone does not show whether a company is cheap.
  4. Timing: check disclosures published after the report you are reading. An old article may omit decisive later developments.

These are document-reading questions, not a buy or sell recommendation. Growth in the electric-vehicle market as a whole also cannot establish the outcome for one company.

Do the original forecasts still stand?

No. The invitation to invest, expectations of share-price gains and unsupported claims about leadership or production have been removed. The linked filings show why product marketing and shareholder risk require separate analysis.
